Since 2014, Niels Gade-Jacobsen has been the first lawyer in Denmark to specialize in cryptocurrency. Today he specializes in all legal issues related to cryptocurrency such as bitcoin and ether. Within this area, Niels has established a broad international network, extensive professional experience and acquired industry knowledge, which forms the basis for his legal advice.

In 2017, Niels Gade-Jacobsen, together with other leading legal experts, founded the thinkBLOCKtank, which, among other things, has advised and advises the EU in relation to legislation within cryptocurrency and DLS.

Niel's experience as a legal advisor mainly includes tax law, financial regulation, company law, contract drafting, preparation of legal opinions and legal proceedings. Niels regularly represents clients regarding the taxation of cryptocurrencies against the Danish tax authorities.
